How To Guide - How to bid in Netfleet Daily Auctions

Netfleet auctions run 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Each day the auction closes at 2pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Please note that during the Winter Months (non-daylight savings, usually March to October) - the auction closes at 1pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

To bid, you must be registered on the Netfleet system. To sign up to Netfleet click on the red box in the top right hand corner of the homepage and fill in your details. Please note, the email used here will also be the email to which the domain name/s in your account will be registered so please ensure it is current and correct.

Once registered click on the Auctions tab.

When you enter your first bid, the system will prompt you to enter your ABN or ACN and your credit card details. You will not be able to particpate in the the auction until both of these fields are completed.

Our auctions follow a Sealed Bid / Fixed Blind Bid format.  This means the price you offer is the price you pay as long as no one else outbids you and as long as we catch the domain name. Your bids are further hidden from other participants view so you do not need to bid in a rush at the end of the auction.  We will not show any prices on our auction platform until after the auction closes.

It is an Australian regulatory requirement that you must be an ABN or ACN holder to be eligible to hold a .au domain name and as our auction process is a legally binding process with no account or payment terms, a valid and current credit card must be on file to charge if you are the winning bidder at the end of the auction.

Please see the Netfleet Terms and Conditions to read all of the obligations of both you as the buyer (registrant) and Netfleet as the platform operator (registrar).
