Dear Friends, We are pleased to announce the long awaited relaunch of our popular Aftermarket Auctions platform on Netfleet. Quite different from our previous platform, we now have the ability to run multiple auctions at any one time. What’s more, is that each seller is given the option to choose their own, unique URL displaying only their domain names for sale. Sellers can also choose the length each domain name will run for. All auctions will feed in to our Aftermarket Auctions – Hot Domains as they approach the close of auction, plus we will include other ‘Hot Domains’ in […]
Our latest development for Netfleet.com.au has just been released – a Questions & Answers Section for every Standard Domain Listing. All too often a buyer may have a question for the seller ahead of submitting an offer that isn’t covered in the listings description. The Q&A section on every listing allows you to ask any question surrounding the domain name, such as the traffic it receives, the revenue generated, or the age of the domain for example. The seller then has a few options when responding the buyer: a) Respond privately to the seller via email b) Respond publicly to […]
Happy to say we’ve got a much requested feature back on Netfleet – the Snapper Past Results/History. Many of us often miss the domain purge, and if you are not watching our platform at the right time, can miss the results. Both our Snapper Auctions Australia and Snapper Auctions New Zealand now show past results for Australia here: http://www.netfleet.com.au/snapper-history/ And for New Zealand here: http://www.netfleet.com.au/snapper-nz-history/ Thanks, Mark
In June 2008 auDA removed the prohibition on selling domains names, or effectively performing a change of registrant, and created the Transfers (Change of Registrant) Policy (2008-08). This was a great, and long overdue, step towards creating a legitimate domain name aftermarket whereby domain investors could buy and sell domains for any reason, albeit with a few provisions, such as prohibiting the sale of a domain name within 6 months of registering. As a result of the findings from a Secondary Market Working Group who discussed many aspects of the .AU secondary market recently, auDA has agreed that “The six […]
Since our last newsletter the Netfleet team has been busy recruiting employees, developing new software, changing current software, and trying to improve the overall domain sales process and user experience. New Zealand – Snapper Auctions With the continued success of our .AU Snapper Auctions, we turned our experience to the New Zealand domain market, and for those of you who have not seen, we are excited to introduce our .NZ Snapper Auctions platform. After a few teething problems, we are happy to say our snap rate is now more consistent, and we are now seeing close to the success rate […]
On the 28th and 29th June there is an exceptional list of domain names that are due to expire, and will be listed on our Domain Snapper Auctions. The following domain names are in pendingDelete status – which means auDA have instructed the registrar to delete the domain names due to a breach in policy by the registrant. Domain names in pendingDelete can sometimes be contested by the registrant, and un-deleted, however with these domain names this is highly unlikely. Due to the quality of these generic domain names, we wanted to give you a bit of advance notice and […]

Happy to say we hit quite a landmark today for Netfleet and have just registered our 10,000th client! Ok, so it’s a little short of Facebook users, and a touch under the number of Twitter accounts, but nonetheless, it is still the largest Australian domain name aftermarket on the planet π I’d like to thanks all of our clients who have helped grow the .au market over the last 2 and a half years, without which we would be nowhere, and of course, here’s to our next 10,000! Thanks Mark
