We have just re-introduced the fixed bid ability in the single domain view again, this time it is available in an optional format so you can place an initial fixed bid if you wish and a backup proxy bid above it too. You’ll notice the Auctions page each domain now has a hyperlink to a single page view. This shows the domain broken down in to it’s simplest view, whilst having all the information you would ever require, just a short click away on the same page. You can read about the different bid options here Bids and Offers on […]
Helpful hints to assist your sales turnover using the “Domains for Sale” platform Please note, “Domains for Sale” was previously known as Domain Catalogue on the Netfleet website. We have changed the name to better appeal to new buyers, end users and those buyers and sellers not conversant in the Domaining language. It also better describes what the platform actually does! 1. Transfer We advise that you transfer * your names to Netfleet or at the very least point your nameservers to Netfleet to take advantage of our “For Sale” page. (* Transferring your name to Netfleet will ensure you receive […]
In response to requests from some of our major sellers and in one of our initiatives to increase the aftermarket sales within the BUY NOW (Domain Catalogue) area of Netfleet, we have recently reset all offers and counter offers on domain names for which no activity has occurred within the past 6 months. The reset has already been activated so there is no need for you to change anything within your portfolio of domain names for sale. All of the historical data is still listed beside the domain name under “archive” so that both the seller and buyers can see […]
Netfleet has two sales options, “Domain Catalogue” and “Auction“. The Catalogue takes longer in theory, to produce a sale but you only need one interested party to produce a high sale price. Buyers make an offer and you then have 7 days to; 1. counter-offer 2. accept their offer or 3. ignore their offer The Auction is faster as it has a sense of urgency but you need two interested parties in order to produce a high sale price. Under the proxy bidding , buyers only pay $1 more than the next highest bidder. This HOW-TO guide is how to […]

As we say goodbye to summer, we wanted to share some figures on how the domain name aftermarket is faring, particularly on Netfleet. We’re happy to say that business is booming! In November, as you will know, we integrated our aftermarket domain auctions into our daily snapper auctions for expired domains. The rationale was that it seemed that the expired domain auctions were stealing the limelight when there were some great names being put up for sale by you, our members, that deserved more attention. We also made it completely free to add reserves if your name is at Netfleet […]
Has the 4% listing fee for reserve prices on the Aftermarket Auctions been keeping you from listing your premium domains names? We are now offering zero upfront cost Aftermarket Auctions (with reserve prices) if Netfleet.com.au is the registrar for the domain. To Transfer your domains to Netfleet go to https://www.netfleet.com.au/transfer.php We have been running our current format of Aftermarket Auctions since November 2011 so I thought it was time to share some insights into what I have observed in the last 10 months. As a company focused on servicing the needs of domain name traders it it only fitting that we upgrade our Domain Management tools to help you manage large portfolios of domain names. So with this in mind we listened to your feedback on forums like dntrade.com.au and have added domain categorisation, or as we call it folders to help you organise your domains. Do you have more than 100 domains and wanted to find all the domains expiring in 90 days, that are using dns1.netfleet.com.au as a nameserver and have auto-renew set to off? Well this information is now just […]
With the sale of CreditReport.com.au this month we now have a two way tie at the top of our Top Standard Catalogue Listing Sales between CreditReport.com.au and CurrencyConverter.com.au at $27,500 (xGST and Transfer costs). It is worth remembering that very few big sales ever get reported publicly so this is a rare opportunity for us to see the true retail value of a quality generic domain name. The domain sale was negotiated through Netfleet’s Standard Catalogue Listing process which is currently a totally free service offered to buyer and sellers of .au domain names. Once the sale price was agreed […]
