No other product or service has such a crazy "6 month before you can sell it" rule. Imagine buying a house, car or anything else and being told you cant sell it for 6 months.. we dont live in a communist country and it’s about time that rule was deleted.

No other country in the world has or has ever had such a rule for domain names. Auda got it wrong with their old policies and finally they have realised and are changing the policy in many areas to be like the rest of the world

The six month wait has the effect of making domains at auction cheaper because money can’t be turned over quickly. ie speculators capital is tied up for half a year. This is a good thing if you are serious and patient buyer and don’t want to pay too much. As you can see from the auction results there are not many premium domains coming through and there is no short of people pushing the price up already.

.com has the best and easiest rules.. auda has been years behind with too much red tape for too long and its hurt the internet in australia. Finally things are changing at Auda and with the outdated policies
